Are shining in the darkness.
How Your face resembles

Who lower their eyelashes,
Disappearing in the darkness…
But there is a little humble Boy with you,
Curly hair and white cap,
His hand in Yours,
Your hand won’t let Him fall.
I am standing in the shadow of the arch
Gusty wind around,
Covering with tears
My intense gaze.
I wish to step right out
And exclaim: “Virgin Mary
What for did You bring to my dark city
Your Child?”
But my tongue is numb to cry out.
You are passing by.
Your sacred steps fade
Leaving sapphire shadows.
And I am standing here remembering
The lowered lashes,
And the way Your Boy in the white hat
Smiled at You.
