About me: my name is Mira Al rawahi, an International student from Oman who moved to the US in 2021. I got accepted into a scholarship that requires me to go to Philly for 6 to 12 months ( English language programs at Upenn) didn’t like the weather so cold decided to apply to school in the south. My major is accounting which is why I decided to come to The University of Tennessee, it has a really good business school. decided to study in the US after visiting my sister who was studying here at one of the universities in the US. chose accounting as a major because I’m good with numbers. I’m taking this course because it is required by my college, I did public speaking which is a presentation used to do in school each semester and in college, I have done it a couple of times in some courses such as management and economics. I’m excited to learn more about this course ( Anything you want me to know about you as we are getting started / for this part you can be creative).I’m doing an internship this summer I’m looking forward for this experince. I’m happy to be in the Usa and learn more about the culture. it was diffrent experince living in 2 different cities.
