For instance, in 1995, astronomers discovered a planet that orbits a star other than Earth’s Sun. Since then, hundreds more such planets—known as exoplanets—have been discovered.
Space Travel: Past, Present, and Future Research Presentation
We have launched hundreds of space missions in the last 65 years. In the previous 40 years, we have traveled to several planets and beyond our solar system! This assessment requires you to research a mission and create a presentation. Select one of the following missions: screenshot of available mission provided in file
Your presentation should include the following:
Name of the mission
Launch date
Landing date
Return date if applicable
Type of mission (orbiter, lander, sample return, flyby, rover, etc.)
Two images: one of the actual satellite and one taken from the mission
