Objectives: Students will conduct research into a credible non-profit and identify the type of fundraisers the organization currently holds. Next, the learners will apply the reading and discussion from this course to identify opportunities for new events. The outcome is a document that offers analysis and recommendations for future fundraising/special event strategies.

Directions:
Select a reputable non-profit.
Go on to the organization’s web site to review newsletters and other information related to the non-profit’s fundraising activities/special events.
Develop an overview of at least 500 words to provide perspective on the various events and key details.Use in-text citation for appropriate substantiation and to give credit to the sourced material. Example: (Smith, 2022, p. 3).
Analyze the event from the perspective of a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats).
Complete the Worksheet (below).Bullets may be used, but again, please include in-text citations.
Strive to be objective and complete.
Submit the Mid-Term through Canvas to the designated assignment dropbox on the date indicated in the Syllabus.

This template will supplement the narrative paper. Strive to provide an overview of the current fundraising event analysis and to project where new, potentially more effective strategies can be introduced.
Begin by developing bullets for the various sections of the template. Please use in-text citations to credit referenced sources. For example: (Smith, 2022, p. 3).
Evaluate at least three events. Next, provide recommendation for at least two new fundraising/special events, or major modifications to the existing functions.
Note: There may be some overlap between the sections, but please strive to avoid excessive repetition.
