Section 1:
Summarize the premise of the paper and the findings (at least 2 pages) Make sure to do the following:
1.State the main hypothesis of the research paper (5 pts)
2.Define the variables in the model. (10 pts)
3.Choose 3 of the variables in Table 2. Expand on the reasons presented in table 2 for the expected signs of the independent variables. Find additional evidence to support your point and provide a link to it. For example, the first independent variable is D and represents the level of democracy in the country. Table 2 implies that the more democratic a society is the more likely is cryptocurrency adoption. Can you find and link to another research paper or article that supports this and briefly describe it. (35 pts)
Section 2:
1.Choose any country from TABLE 3. (at least 3 pages)
2.Report the values for each independent variable according to the table (you can reproduce the values) and discuss in the context of the reasoning in Table 2.
3.For the country that you chose what is the index value of cryptocurrency adoption? What does the model infer about the country you chose? Is cryptocurrency adoption likely? Conduct internet research and discuss cryptocurrency adoption in that country. Present evidence on cryptocurrency adoption in your country. For example you can look at what the government’s official policy is towards cryptocurrency, is it banned? Is it regulated? Is blockchain or cryptocurrency being used by the government in any way? What about entrepreneurship and the private sector?Are there any examples or applications you can point to? Any significant laws passed? Any other indications (40 pts).
