Sociology is the study of social environment around human beings and the influence that the social environments have on human life. Human beings are social animals, they interact with each other at close range, they also depend on each other for live-hood in one way or another; sociology concerns itself with the study of social interaction and dynamics within the society.
The society that we live has intricate connections with our behaviors and individual life changes, the exposure that someone gets from his/her society has an influence on his/her personality development, sociology looks into these unseen forces within the community, it facilitates better understanding of humanity and the world in general.
