Introduction

Religion has played an important role in the political systems of the world since the first documented existence of man. Today, there are many disputes and tribulations faced by individuals from all potential surroundings, localities and social class. Issues of health, safety and mortality are common occurrences arising because of these daily disputes that religion seeks to solve. Religion is the general gizmo for strengthening things, which we do not know like in the periods of the corporeal world.

Even though there are numerous religions with each one being dissimilar from the other, they have one thing in common, which is to provide the similar intention. This intention is helping us to convey our ethics from a generation to another and control the way we cooperate through the normal surroundings. (Rupp 120)

The subject of religion liberty has contributed an important part in the history of some parts of the world especially the United States and the rest of North America. Most Europeans fled to America to escape oppression that was being propagated by religious groups in their own countries. These religious groups were often funded by the state to carry out this repression. The social conflict fueled the need of America’s great fathers to set up the union of a country in which the division of church and state and the liberty to carry out ones confidence with no terror of harassment was assured. Religion played a big role in shaping the history of the United States, as we know it today. (Travel and History)

Before the British invasion in America, citizens prided themselves in the association they had with the spiritual world. When religion came, it transformed the way of idol celebration in which they worshipped the Great Spirit who originated from animals as well as lifeless substances. “Religion also stopped complicated customs and dances such as the Sundance, Round, Snake, crow, Ghost and others were developed and led by such native leaders as wodiziwob, Wovoka, Black Elk, Big Foot, and sitting Bull among others”. (Travel and History)This showed the role that Christianity played in shaping the political system of the society.

Christianity been one of the strongest religions played a great role in the politics of the world for it stopped rituals, which were practiced like slavery. By that time, slavery was one of the most practices carried out in that period. People were not living comfortably due to the trade since they feared loosing their loved ones. By so doing, Christianity worked to its best to stop this practice and people were able to live without fear.

Christianity also taught about friendship and love so people lived in harmony. As the years went by, the friendship and love advocated by Christianity brought about intermarriages since there was unity. Before the Christianity took place, people could not marry any time they felt like since the marriages were only conducted in June every year according to the tradition. After the rituals were broken, they had the mandate to marry any time they felt like. (Rupp 120)

Islam is another religion whose aim was to glorify God alone. Islamic in Arabic had the meaning of surrender or peace. This showed that Islam played a great role in preaching peace to the world. They had prophets meaning that they were connected to God and their prayers were easily heard and answered. They also participated in calming any kind of war which came up. Its fast growing enabled people to come together and as a result, they became one. (Tignor, etal)

It was during this time (1500-1700) where some changes like the one which was discovered by Hugh Kearney which argued that the systematic mutiny was itself a piece of an era of infinite societal and rational alter was discovered. It also claimed that mathematics and its procedures took place in a world that accepted the role of science and religion. During this short time, Kearney demonstrates how the individuals’ own spiritual idea linked to their scientific exertion.

It was an era, he says, of bewilderment, worries, and irrationalism. Earlier, Kearney had said that he opposed the “Whig interpretation of history”, a description taken from British constitutional historians who saw English liberty “slowly broadening down from precedent to precedent” (Rodgers) The analysis clarified proceedings in easy conditions of a conflict among Whigs who appreciated freedom and Tories who never did.

In 1628, William Harvey characterized the scientific work of the natural rituals on how the heart and blood functioned in animals. The same year, Harvey illustrated the circulation of blood in the body a theory that widely became accepted in the history of physiology. According to historians, “In 1651 Thomas Hobbes broadened the device past the world of scenery into morals and psychology and there after Isaac Newton came up with his tradition, believing in a Diety who combined engineering skill with artistic solicitude.” (Rodgers) This showed how religion and religious leaders played roles ranging from criticizing the political system of things to taking an active role in important inventions.

Religion also plays an important role in the modern world. Religion has one intention, which helps in drawing detailed backgrounds and offer effortless comprehensible details for things as multifaceted as the formation of the earth. In the modern society, religion plays two roles. One is in giving ethical rules and setting up communal policies. Today, the only significant role of religion is to lay down ethical rules.

This is despite the fact that law should be supported on such ethical rules. The principles put in every religion are dissimilar. Traditions are not collectively acknowledged or mutual. Moreover, lots of regulations put in the bible grounds the contravention upon the privileges of others i.e. ban of same sex marriages, bans of abortions among others. This is something that world governments have come to embrace. (Rodgers)

In the modern society, many people ideas have been swayed to conform to what religion teaches. Religion is not significant in determining logical fact but has only to provide hindering systematic perceptive. Religious fact is essentially conflicting to accurate perceptive as the exacting idea of fact merely turns out to be the purview of religion unconfirmed or conflicting to corporeal or normal fact or else it is a universal fact. Thus, the heart of conservipedia is the characteristic of Christianity to hub on the differences in the midst of rationale and sense based on visible, irrefutable, comprehensible occurrence and an explanation of Christian manuscript influenced towards the conventional schedule. (Adler & Pouwels 321)

Conclusion

Over the years, religion has played a great role in the politics of the world. Christianity and Islam are two religions that have helped in shaping the history of the world politics. Christianity made people to live happy for there was no fear of slavery. Christianity also broke the limit in the time that people were supposed to get married and who one was supposed to marry. The Islamic religion took away all the fears of wars and it brought about lasting peace to the people. This shows the important role that religion played in the past and the one it continues to play even in the current world.
