Cognitive psychology can be defined as a theoretical perspective that focuses on the realms of human perception, one’s memory, and thoughts. It can be used by learners as an active processor of information. It assigns critical roles to the knowledge and the perspectives which students bring to their learning. Learning of cognitive psychology in schools can have a wide impact on the students since it’s through cognitive psychology that we are in a position to know the nature of our emotions, feelings, thoughts, and their role in moral life.
