The preceding is an annotated bibliography of six articles outlining nursing job satisfaction. The first article is a situational analysis among Turkey nurses using Hackman and Oldman’s theory of job satisfaction and enrichment. Lim et al elaborate on how stresses affect job delivery and how the solution to such stresses turns to be avenues for job satisfaction among nurses. Also, entailed is how various interventions in the nursing profession like induction training may improve job satisfaction.
The fourth article elaborates how skill exploration, peer relations and working conditions are substantial contributors to nursing job satisfaction. Improving training among nursing is contained in the fifth particle/source. This is because the nursing profession is seen as a minor career in some societies so, improving the training will earn respect for the nurses, hence job satisfaction. Nurses believe that overcoming difficult challenges in the course of their work ensures maximum exploitation of skills and abilities, hence ensuring job satisfaction and passion.

Stress is attributed to several factors, and various coping strategies are some of the satisfactory factors for job passion. Self-support and appropriate problem solving are the motivational factors for nurses in stressful situations, hence are able to continue with their careers. Problem-solving and support within an organization or health facility are, therefore, viewed as the cornerstone for job satisfaction among nurses due to the peace and freedom that prevails. Problem-solving skills may be lacking in an organization which may worsen the situation thus forcing some nurses to quit their profession.

A plethora of challenges affects the Iran’s health that offends nurses despite the improving system in the recent past. Distinct drawbacks include personnel shortage, shortages in the nursing curriculum, job dissatisfaction, discrepancy amid theory and application, underprivileged societal situation of nurses among other challenges. The article recommends that the private, public sectors and the political wing to get reflection of nursing in the country, escalating inspiration and promoting sociocultural atmosphere of nurses, so that they can attain job satisfaction. However, much is needed for the solution of the challenges which may not be a reality meaning that nurses may not attain the passion in their career any soon.
