According to Zucker. (2005), strategic planning involves the making of decisions by an organization to implement on the organizational strategies and future targets. The health sector needs a lot of care and resources for it to be able to attain the strategic goals that it has stipulated to get into in its operational period. From the ten strategies outlined by Zucker, the organization which is working with has been in a process of doing thorough and the related application of the strategies and they at the end never succeeded in the adoption of at least one. The only strategy that has been in operation for a longer duration was the strategy of goal-based approach whereby the organization sets goals and gets into deciding on who and with what resources and when to get into the matters of trying to achieve the aims. The strategy of goal-based has been the most common and it does focus on the stipulated organization mission and the philosophy statement which includes all the visions and the organizational values and the goals that are the driving factors towards the organization end. Beyond this, it does involve the strategies that are fundamental for the achieving of the goals and the factors of action planning on who has to do what and when. This is a strategy that has been sued for a considerable time in the organization am currently working in and it has led to very right and well-placed returns. The usage of the goal-based strategy in the organization am working in has been very considerable provide that the management team has been able to achieve the aims and targets that are traceable to it. To create some more improvement in the organization I am working with, there is the need of having to stick to, the same approach because a lot of potentials can be realized in the organization still. Herzlinger, (2007) says that the management team just needs to use a specific type of approach to planning and as per my proposal we should be getting into the section of appreciative inquiry,(Ruth, Et al 2009). This is a system whereby the higher occupants of the offices looks for information that has been realized by the actual doers of the action and put in place the mechanism that is meant to recreate the opportunities and improve returns. A worker who sees his contribution implemented does have the motive to work toward it and this instead will be giving back a whole lot of returns, (Reid, 2009).

According to my views, the strategy that has enabled the organization to realize good returns is the goal-based strategy. I wound be very much fine and ready to implement this strategy in the organization am working with currently because its easier to achieve targets with very minimal hindrances reasonably its all about the allocation of duties and the making a follow up of what the person working on it is facing. By giving of the right resources and responsibility a member of staff shall be able to assume the responsibility solely has his and then work towards what the organization has outlined as the target of the same. During the implementing of this strategy their some likeliness of having some of the other members oppose it because they shall tend to say that it breaking apart the organization team spirit. This shall arise due to the giving of responsibilities to a single individual which is different from the other.Goal based approach shall also be opposed because the human resources shall feel like they are being left to achieve a target alone yet they were set by a group of the managers. One my feel that his undertaking a responsibility that the majority came up with. Rebuilding on the strategy shall also face the drawback of the financial lack, (Richard & Wurman, 2003).
