It is impossible to avoid the fact that the level of childhood obesity has recently increased. Being a problem for many years, much research has been conducted in the sphere. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the level of obesity in children doubled in the recent 30 years. The rate of obese children aged 7-11 in the USA increased from 7% in 1980 up to 18% in 2010. The number of adolescents aged 12-19 also increased, from 5% up to 18% over the same period. The main reasons for obesity in children are caloric imbalance, genetic issues, and the absence of appropriate physical exercises (Childhood Obesity Facts, 2013). The problem can be solved, much more it must be solved, however, the issue is to be considered on the national level. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends creating a safe and supportive environment at school aimed at promoting healthy behaviors. Therefore, implementing a permanent exercise regimen in schools to decrease childhood obesity is one of the ways out.

I recommend increasing the rate of physical exercise in your school to reduce the rate of obesity. Much has already been said about correct diet and physical exercise. However, some scholars put under question the necessity to increase the rate of physical exercise, I strongly recommend following this issue. I should say that the research conducted by Hooker (2010) proved that children who had increased physical exercise were less obese. The benefit of being physically active has already been proved. The earlier a child starts active life, the fewer problems with heart one is going to have in the future. A permanent exercise regimen in schools to decrease childhood obesity is the only way out. Apart from the physical class, children are to have obligatory active minutes every hour. Depending on the duration of the lessons and the class activities, children are to be allowed to stand up from their seats and to make simple exercises. Teachers have to create a plan according to which the scheduled system is to be presented.

A permanent exercise regimen in schools to decrease childhood obesity is going to be an effective one. First of all, children are going to be taught to lead an active life. Furthermore, they will increase the time of exercises that is going to reduce the level of obesity. It should be stated that the research results presented by Hooker (2010) show that children who were likely to participate in sports clubs were less obese than those who preferred non-sport clubs. Therefore, the exercise program at your school is going to be effective if the simple rules are followed, stability and regularity.

Therefore, it may be concluded that physical exercises are important for children. Staying most of their time at school sitting at their desks, children should be obligated to increase the rate of physical activity. Not much time is necessary for increasing the interest of students in active life. If your school implements this particular program on regular basis, your students are going to have lower risks to have problems with health connected to obesity.
