For all people, it is very well-known what kind of responsible work doctors do. Doctors’ priorities should be related to patient well-being and health. I want to outline below the critical priorities of the medical staff working in the polyclinic, which would help me to be the best candidate for this position and become a medical worker who knows his business.

First of all, for me, as a medical worker, transparency and honesty in the process of working with patients will be extremely important. My patient should be informed about all the details of my health observations. Moreover, the patient will have the opportunity to state any personal preferences based on the maximum accuracy of his health status.

Next, it is fundamental to provide emotional support to patients, especially athletes, because they have an essential competition ahead of them. Due to injuries sustained during the competition, athletes may be afraid of losing their careers. For this reason, moral and emotional support are essential to my work with patients.

Finally, the intercultural and direct professional competence skills are essential to an organization’s quality care. These skills consist of the ability to accept the characteristics of another’s culture, respect the professionalism of its representatives, and the ability to practice communication, and consider intercultural psychological sensitivity (Arasaratnam-Smith, 2017). These abilities are essential in increasing the effectiveness of outpatient clinic staff in communicating with foreign physicians and athletes from other ethnicities.

In conclusion, the above priorities of the health worker are essential in working with patients in the polyclinic. These principles will allow me to become not only a strong candidate for this position but also to achieve a qualitative examination during the performance of my duties.
