The topic of the study is the role of bariatric surgery in reducing diabetes. The research question to be explored is how effectively bariatric surgery reduces diabetes? The study has shown that it effectively lowers glucose levels and reduces the need for diabetes medications. The long-term benefits of bariatric surgery are numerous, including a lower risk of cardiovascular diseases, stroke, cancer, and death. As the figure indicates, the operation can help an individual reduce weight (Mexico Bariatric Center, 2021). Bariatric surgery is a great way to reduce diabetes and improve overall health.
Bariatric surgery is among the methods used to treat people with obesity and type 2 diabetes. According to Guerreiro et al. (2019), bariatric surgery can help people lose weight. Dang et al. (2019) believe bariatric surgery is appropriate for treating type 2 diabetes. Chumakova-Orin et al. (2021) believe that bariatric surgery is an appropriate treatment method for diabetes remission. Based on these opinions, I would advise doctors to use bariatric surgery to lower the prevalence of diabetes.
Bariatric surgery has been proven to be an effective method for reducing diabetes. Studies have shown that surgery can significantly decrease the risk of developing diabetes. This is because the surgery can greatly improve glucose control and metabolic health. Patients who have undergone surgery have reported significantly improved quality of life, including improved physical functioning, fewer medical complications, and improved mental health.
