Educational process cannot be successful without appropriate utilization of technological resources, which schools or colleges have in their possession. The main problem, which still remains unresolved, is that many instructors do not know how to use the technology in the most effective manner. In addition to that, we should point out that technology can be characterized by extreme diversity, thus, some training program should be launched in order to improve instructors skills. However, the implementation of such plan requires certain changes in scheduling process and probably in the structure of the organization. Certainly, there are many approaches to this issue and it is possible to come up with several solutions. In this essay, we are going to analyze one of such solutions in terms of feasibility.

For instance, we can propose such measures, which may improve the situation that has recently emerged. It is necessary to start a training program, covering all levels of technology; this program would be mandatory for all instructors. First, it is worth mentioning that such proposal can neither be fully accepted nor rejected, because it has certain positive and negative aspects. Overall, we should say that it is relatively cost-effective. A training program is less expensive that replacing all technology. It is impermissible for us to say that schools or colleges are ill-equipped, yet classroom resources are not always effectively used. Such training program is supposed to settle this problem.

Nonetheless, if one tries to put it into practice, he or she may encounter certain difficulties. First and foremost, we should speak about the scheduling. The main question that we need to answer is when these courses should take place. Each member of the faculty has his schedule, and there will surely be some timing problems. Another aspect, which we need to discuss, is how to cover all levels of technology (and whether it is necessary). There is no need for some teachers to use all levels of technology.

Probably, it would be more prudent to divide the training process, itself into sessions, which would be held throughout the week. They do not necessarily have to be very long, ranging from twenty to thirty minutes. It should be borne in mind that instructors do not have to use all levels of classroom technological resources. Thus the management should clearly identify which aspects are obligatory for every member of the faculty.

Furthermore, these training programs should not be forced on the faculty. At first glance, this statement may seem commonplace to say the least, but in the overwhelming of case, even teachers underestimate the importance of technology utilization, and at the initial stages they may even rebel against such courses. The management should clearly explain all the benefits of such training program; otherwise, it is very unlikely that this plan will yield any results.

Therefore, it is quite possible for us to arrive at the conclusion that the implementation of a training program in an educational institution presents certain difficulties, particularly timing problems, yet it does not mean that these difficulties are insurmountable. It is of the crucial importance to divide teaching staff into groups, according to their needs and schedule. Moreover, it will make the training process less time-consuming and cumbersome. Nevertheless, the most important task that should be fulfilled is to bring the importance of classroom resources management to the faculty.
