Introduction

The art of partitioning a house does not increase the actual area of the floor but it subdivides the house in more appropriate proportions to provide extra rooms which makes the activities being involved on a particular partition to be more enjoyable. It is more desirable for an interior designer to establish the best way or procedures to be taken for proper portioning. Henceforth, this partition which involves the conversion of a country house into a conference house needs a specific form or type that undergoes load-bearing blockwork construction.

Load-bearing wall

A load-bearing wall is structural support acting as a wall and can be determined mostly by checking the level of the wall directly below the wall being figured out or with the help of a stud finder. However, they are mostly made up of concrete that provides proper support to the weight of the building. One way of creating or increasing the internal space is by removal of a wall among the neighboring rooms. This is done by using framing materials for typical about 11 ft which is relatively low-cost.

A concrete house weights it due to structures or materials that support roofing and there is a need for a beam to be provided so that simultaneously works is done without causing any damage on the whole house for weight balancing. After the installation of beams, the drywall is stripped slowly by slowly. The main precaution that is taken before stripping is that one is expected to shut off the main switch of the electric power panel since there might be the presence of baseboards on both sides of the wall and even electrical cover plates that are supposed to be taken inconsiderate. Moreover, by the use of a chisel or any special tool, an opening is made slowly through the wall to create a hollow space, and means of removing the surrounding concrete are taken with a lot of concern.

It is advisable to start by removing small pieces of concrete then afterward you remove bigger pieces to ease the workload. A temporary support wall of the beam is constructed across depending on the elevation angle when tearing out the bearing wall and preparing the beam pocket. However, there is the addition of floor blocking and removal of the temporary wall is done after the beam and the cradles have been set.

In addition, we have non-load-bearing walls that do not carry any load above them acting only as walls. It is desirable when partitioning any space into small rooms to consider a nonload bearing system i.e. division of a study room into small seminar rooms. The construction part of it consists of, dividing rooms into desirable partitions by using correct measurements and providing the interior structure with a strong background. However, a stud finder is used to locate straight lines and mark spar along the span. A plumb line is then used to mark the points proportional to the floor where the wall is located to avoid imposition. The ease of doing the work depends on the type of materials chosen hence finishing is done by either painting on varnishing these rooms to look better.

Door hanging

There are various types of door hanging present in the walls of most structures which either swings or slides allowing inside and outside movements. These doors are of more importance since they provide security, allow light inside the room, prohibit sound, and also obscure spaces. They include; Slabs door, French door, Screen door, Bi-fold, and bypass doors among others.

For a bedroom that is encroached, a bi-fold and bypass type of doors is recommended. A bi-fold door is a hinged door that folds onto one another when it is opened. This type of door system suttees encroached rooms as one of the non-load-bearing products. It is constructed in such a way that it slides along two fixed tracks that are aligned at a different angle to each other hence making the doors to slide un-proportionally to each other. They are space economizers and desirable to encroached rooms especially for the case of interior designing.

Conclusion

All in all, the construction of partitions based on a load-bearing wall block system is done with a lot of care, and beams are provided for support due to the weight of the roofing that might cause a problem during the constructions process. Besides Non-load-bearing wall system has been considered of more importance and helpful especially in interior design. As a designer, it is highly recommended to choose the desired type of doors and even for the case of partition based mostly on correct measurements and right methods. This helps one to complete good structures highly appreciated as of good quality creating assurance with your client.
