Safaricom is the leading telecommunications company in Kenya (Krause, 2008).

It provides pre and post-paid services and sells different handsets. It offers high quality mobile services in Kenya. Cultural and social factors like poverty have also influenced promotion strategies that the firm uses in the two countries. The company uses high technology and agencies in management of promotion activities in the two countries.

Regulatory authorities in the two countries also influence the promotion activities of Vodafone in India and Kenya. The use of advertisement and public relation agents is also a promotion strategy that the company uses in the two countries.
